Bonnie Kotler has her Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and her Master of Science in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University. She did her clinical internship at an outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility in Coatesville, PA.
She is a Christian and active member of Willowdale Chapel in Kennett Square, PA. She particularly enjoys working with women and adolescents and has gained valuable experience over the years as a women’s Bible Study leader and small group leader for High School girls. Bonnie and her husband Mitch, have been married since 1984 and have 5 children.
Bonnie enjoys working with clients in an individual or group setting with a variety of life issues including addictions, codependency, anxiety, depression, and adjustment difficulties. She favors a Cognitive Behavioral approach-exploring how emotions, thoughts, and behaviors interrelate. Bonnie desires to help her client’s work through their difficult life experiences in order to “make beauty out of ashes” (Isa. 61:3).
