Jody Flecken, M.A. is a PA Licensed Professional Counselor. She obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Community Counseling from Eastern University and conducted her internship at Life Counseling Services in Paoli, Pennsylvania. In addition, Jody has an M.A. in College Student Personnel with a concentration in Counseling from Bowling Green State University. Her work in the university setting as Director of Student Life as well as a Resident Director has provided Jody with valuable experience and opportunity working with the young adult population.
Her treatment specialties include: couples counseling and relationship issues, depression and anxiety, anger management, mood disorders and people who are experiencing the effects of abuse and trauma.
Along with her husband of 27 years and their two adult children, Jody has been part of the Downingtown community for over 15 years participating actively in neighborhood, school, and church activities. Together they have been very involved with the middle school ministry as staff members for over 7 years at Calvary Fellowship Church. They are currently attending Central Presbyterian Church in Downingtown where they enjoy serving as staff members for the high school ministry. Her desire to work in the field of Counseling stems from her strong Christian values of supporting and assisting in the healing process with individuals, couples, and families who are seeking emotional and spiritual strength and renewal.
