Judy Reid

Judy Reid holds a Clinical Social Work and a Marriage and Family Therapy license in Pennsylvania.  She is also a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.  Judy is the Executive Director of The Peacemaker Center. In conjunction with the board she has been creating the vision and leading The Peacemaker Center since its inception in 2000. Judy supervises the clinical staff and Interns which helps to maintain the high standard of clinical excellence. Judy received her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Eastern College and her Masters Degree in Social Work from Marywood Graduate School of Social Work.  Her post graduate work includes certification in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Family Institute of Philadelphia. Judy is certified in EMDR and trained in trauma treatment. Judy works from a family systems framework that includes understanding and changing patterns in one’s life. She has worked with children and adults with learning disabilities and in the foster care and behavioral health systems.  In addition to trauma, Judy works with couples and family relationships, people who have mood disorders and anxiety disorders and families with disruptive or addictive behaviors.  Her resume includes 30 years of experience working with Access Services, a non-profit social service agency.
