Megan joined The Peacemaker Center as an intern in thesummer of 2008 and has been on staff since the spring of 2009. Megan received her BA in Psychology from West Chester Universityand her MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She is also trained in EMDR, a treatment for trauma.
Megan worked for Access Services from 2007-2011. Her main role there was working with people with mental health problems. In addition, she provided mobile therapy for children in foster care and their families. Megan currently works for Gaudenzia, a drug and alcohol treatment facility, where she works with individuals and groups. Megan does a lot of work with those who have experienced trauma and sees a wide variety of people.
Megan has felt God calling her to and equipping her for the field of counseling since high school. She has a passion for helping people find healing and become closer toGod. In addition, she has a passion for missions. She spent three months in Cambodiain 2007 working with girls who had been rescued from sex trafficking and training natives in counseling.
