Scott Edwards has a MA in counseling and a MA of Divinity from Asbury Seminary. He is a licensed professional counselor in the state of PA. Scott has over 15 years of counseling experience in a pastoral setting and a clinical outpatient setting. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. Through his work as a hospice counselor Scott has developed a specialty in grief and loss. Part of his practice also includes using the Prepare and Enrich curriculum in conjunction with Karen Uhler. This unique combination of co-therapy from a male and female perspective allows couples to focus on gender roles and conflicts. As a pastor, Scott is passionate to help clients who have been wounded by the church or are experiencing spiritual conflict. His theoretical approach to counseling is an eclectic approach with an emphasis on person centered and cognitive restructuring therapy.
