Techniques for Reducing Stress and Anxiety

About the Course
This is a skills-based group for individuals who struggle to manage stress and anxiety. Participants will be introduced to mind-body informed techniques that address common stress responses. Activities that challenge negative thinking and foster a growth mindset will accompany gentle movement and breathing practices. Participants will be encouraged to identify their unique needs and adopt practices that improve their well being.
Jocelyn Moye, MA
Jocelyn brings her diverse background to the counseling field. Her passions for psychology and wellness led her to study Clinical Mental Health. Informed by a holistic education, she approaches stress and anxiety with a practical application of wellness interventions. Additionally, writing for a non-profit organization afforded her the opportunity to highlight international artists. She explored personal stories and retold them with compassion and an open mind. This experience helped her recognize her deep respect for people and their unique experiences. Jocelyn's goal is to help others work through their unique challenges and discover ways to be well.
