About the Group

The Bereavement Support Group will provide psychoeducation about the process and impacts of grief. Participants will be free to share their stories and provide support and encouragement to each other within a confidential, caring, and supportive environment.

Every Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11:00am from April 15 - May 27, 2023.

St. Ann Church Hall, 502 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA.


How long is the group?

It is a 90 minute Group that meets weekly for 7 weeks


Attendance Commitment required?

No, members can come weekly or whenever they choose.

Karen M. Snyder, MA

Karen is a Master's level intern who is completing her coursework at Capella University. She holds a Master's degree in Pastoral Theology from St. Joseph College in Maine. She has spent several years co-leading bereavement support groups at her home parish and has experience as a hospice spiritual care volunteer. Karen spent the first part of her career in financial operations and understands the pressures and anxieties of the workplace. In 2021, she decided to pursue her degree as a Mental Health Counselor and bring her empathy and life skills to her clients. Karen understands the power of silence and the need for peace and calm in daily life. Her goal is to help her clients find that peace within themselves and find hope for a healthier future.
