About the Group
For two years, Tracy Defina, PhD, MFT, has facilitated this online support group for women whose partners struggle with pornography or infidelity. She creates a safe, compassionate space for women to receive support and education empowering them on their journey. This group will use the optional workbook Facing Heartbreak: Steps to Recovery for Partners of Sex Addicts, by Carnes, Lee, & Rodriguez. You may purchase the workbook to guide your participation, or you are free to attend without the workbook. The group will meet online once a month: the first Tuesday of every month, from 7:00-8:00pm. You are not required to participate every month. You may join when you can. The cost to participate is $50 per session, with a slidnig scale available to those who need financial support. Tracy Defina, PhD, MFT
Tracy has extensive experience working with families as a preschool teacher, ministry head, and as a wife and parent of teenagers. Her passion is seeing individuals, couples, and families thrive. With compassion and connection, she offers hope for clients to grow; healing wounds and relationships. Addressing anxiety and depression from trauma is a strength of Tracy’s in addition to working with sexuality and sexual addiction including partner support. She is skilled at helping clients with emotion regulation, creating connections, and moving forward in life. She also delights in walking alongside clients on their faith journey as interested. Tracy enjoys reading, swimming, cooking, travel, and her family.
