As a therapist, Amy holds the belief that each person has the capacity for growth and change. She incorporates self-compassion into therapy sessions as a way for individuals to form a new, healthier view of themselves. With couples, she helps them move past quarrels to take a look at what sits underneath the surface, which sets the stage for creating a more secure and trusting bond. Amy has experience as a coach and mentor in youth volleyball, where she continues to support young women in a sports psychologist role as the creator of "Power Up Whole Athlete". Her "passion project," as she calls it, is blogging and adding online resources for individuals, couples, and families through her online platform called "Rooted to Fly." Outside of the therapy room, Amy is a proud wife and mother! She lives with her husband and two children in Lancaster County. She enjoys being outside at the beach or lake, reading, working out, and she LOVES to cook!
