Elisa Pulliam, who prefers to be called Lisa or Lis, utilizes a trauma-informed approach as she seeks to build trust with each client. She approaches the healing and growth process with curiosity and compassion, focusing on stabilizing skills while also exploring the root issues that may have contributed to the presenting problems. She is passionate about simplifying the brain-body-relationship connection that shapes mindset and habits. Lisa has more than twenty years of experience in mentoring teens and coaching women as well as serving and leading ministries. In 2019, she expanded her services, to include another life-long passion – horses! She provides equine-assisted therapy, coaching, and learning opportunities to children through adults as well as families, groups, and leadership teams. Lisa’s clinical approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and client-centered, and includes somatic work, especially in equine-assisted sessions. Her expertise includes anxiety, stress, and anger management; relationships (marriage/parenting); life purpose and transition; college and career; trauma and PTSD; grief and loss; shame resilience; and emotional, physical, and spiritual abuse. Lisa savors the opportunity to make memories with her nearly all-grown children and husband as well as spending time with her golden retrievers and rescue horse, Kody.
