Cameron is a Master’s level intern, finishing up his degree in Clinical Mental Health at Lancaster Bible College. Cameron grew up a pastor’s kid, which helped showed him that all people are hurting to some extent and need someone to help and talk to. As a therapist, Cameron works to establish an environment of trust and empathy through taking a genuine interest at the individuals who come into his office. He looks to make the people coming to therapy as comfortable as possible and at ease to open up about the things that they are struggling with in work, relationships, and/or life in general. Cameron employs an eclectic approach to counseling, meaning he does not think that any one therapy, theory, or intervention can adequately treat all aspects of an individual, but rather using multiple of these is the best approach. With this in mind, Cameron primarily uses ACT, CBT, and REBT to treat his clients.
