Erica is currently a Counselor in Training at Capella University. She has provided support to children and families during their most challenging moments, offering guidance and intervention across home, school, and community settings. She has also worked with women and their children in a residential treatment setting, providing support and care during their recovery from substance use disorders.
Erica uses an integrative approach to therapy, blending techniques from different therapeutic models to create a personalized treatment that align with each client’s specific challenges and goals. She aims to enhance self-awareness and strengthen resilience in those that she works with. Outside of working with clients, Erica loves to read, exercise, and spend time with her family-especially her granddaughter.
