Erin has served many roles including mentoring teen moms, mentoring college students, homeschooling her 4 children, and teaching high school math and music. She is inspired by her father, who was a counselor for 35 years. Her experiences as a single mom have impacted her compassion for struggles people face. She takes a Person-Centered approach to counseling, meeting her clients where they are and seeing the world through their eyes. Erin sees a variety of clients, and she has particular interest in women's issues, grief, abuse, and trauma. She is trained in EMDR, which is helpful for a host of issues, particularly trauma. She incorporates faith issues if the client is interested. Ultimately, she wants her clients to see their value as beautiful human beings worthy of respect and love. In her free time she enjoys playing piano, singing, reading, hiking, and chatting with a friend over coffee.
