Helena is a dedicated mental health professional with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families across home, school and community-based settings. Throughout her career, she has supported clients presenting with a wide range of behavioral and emotional challenges, helping them to develop practical skills to navigate daily life and improve overall functioning. Building strong, trusting therapeutic relationships is central to Helena's approach. She believes meaningful change begins with a solid connection between client and therapist, where individuals feel safe, understood, and supported. Helena is passionate about meeting clients where they are and collaborating with them to identify strengths and build resilience. Her work is grounded in a holistic and person-centered framework, often incorporating mindfulness-based practices to help clients increase self-awareness, emotional regulation, and coping capacity. Helena is committed to supporting children, adolescents and adults, while also empowering families with strategies to better understand behavior and create a more supportive environment at home.
