Jack Malone, MA

Mental Health Counselor

Jack is a therapist who believes in a compassion-oriented approach to counseling. Believing that everyone has their own unique struggles that make up their life-story, Jack likes to meet people where they are and create a space where clients are free to work through their emotions without fear of judgement. Jack’s theoretical orientation is primarily grounded in third-wave cognitive behavior therapy approaches including coping skills derived from Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. He utilizes these theories to help clients change negative thinking patterns, process difficult emotions, and engage with the present moment. Jack can also offer Faith-based approaches to counseling if the client desires. Outside of counseling, Jack enjoys reading, intramural sports, and spending time with his friends.
