Jill's passion is helping her client's feel heard, supported and encouraged while working with them to identify areas for growth and tools for strength. Her wide range of personal and professional experience lends well to her holistic approach to healing. Utilizing person-centered therapy as the foundation, Jill employs tools under the cognitive-behavioral (CBT), narrative, as well as solution-focused umbrellas depending on the client's needs and comfort. Jill also believes in incorporating bodywork when applicable, using breathing exercises, mindfulness or even yoga to aid in the healing process. An authentic desire to help an individual gain insight into their challenges and confidences in their inherent strengths drive Jill's motivation to counsel. Jill also welcomes and encourages incorporating faith into therapy when desired. She is married with three children and loves cycling in and outside, yoga, and pretty much anything outdoors!
